Police Release Sketch of Robbery Suspect

Police are asking for help identifying and locating the man who robbed a Savannah Highway check cashing business on Sept. 30

CHARLESTON - Police released the sketch of one of two suspects wanted in connection with the Sept. 30 robbery of the Check Into Cash on Savannah Highway.

During the robbery both men were armed with handguns, according to a statement released by Charleston Police. Described as a dark skinned black male approximately 5-feet 3-inches tall to 5-feet 6-inches tall and weighing about 160 pounds, the suspect pictured in the sketch was wearing  a black shirt with a white graphic design on both the fron and back and dark colored pants.

Anyone with information about this suspect can call Charleston Police at 577-7434 or Crime Stoppers at 554-1111. We don’t have a description yet of the other suspect.
