Poll Place Confusion in St. Andrews
Some voters at Masonic Lodge turned away, sent to new precincts.

Shifting voting districts in St. Andrews has led to some voters to be turned away at the Charleston Masonic Lodge and sent to new polling places.
Jacquelin Crosby almost didn't get to vote at her regular polling place at the Charleston Masonic Lodge. Her precinct apparently changed from St. Andrews 13 to St. Andrews 17.
Crosby said she never received a new Voter Registration Card with her new precinct information. Poll workers were able to find her name on the voter list and allowed her to vote at the Lodge.

"I got a lecture from a poll worker though," Crosby said. "They said if I had voted in the primary this would have already been taken care of."
Several other voters here have run into the same issue and have been sent to another polling location. Voters with an old registration card showing them to be in precinct 13 are still able to vote at the Masonic Center, but those who are using a driver's license or ID card are being sent to their new precinct.
