Second Man Charged in Hazelwood Drive Gun Burglary
Charleston police have charged a second man in connection with a Nov. 16 burglary at an apartment at 1900 Hazelwood Drive

A second man is now facing a first degree burglary charge in connection with the Nov. 16 burglary of a Hazelwood Drive apartment.
Charleston police charged Ervin Lee Frazier, 29, of Iris Street, North Charleston, with burglary — 1st degree on Wednesday, according to a statement from Charleston Police department.
The break-in at the Hazelwood Drive apartment occurred around 8 p.m., Friday, Nov. 16. The residents of the apartment were not home at the time, but received a phone call from the other man already charged in the case, 28-year-old Chauvez Williams, who resides in the same apartment complex, just moments before the burglary, according to an incident report. A rifle was the only thing taken during the burglary.

The burglary was one of two committed on Nov. 16 in which the victims received a phone call inquiring whether they were at home. No connection between the crimes has been established or suggested by police
Frazier is being held at the Al Cannon Detention Center.
