A North Charleston man accused of being one of two would-be armed robbers in an incident foiled by Charleston Police Officers Feb. 18, surrendered to police on Monday.
Bobby Eugene Warthaw, 25, of Dowling Road in North Charleston, is charged with Attempted Armed Robbery and Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Violent Crime, according to a Charleston Police Department statement.
Warthaw is allegedly one of two armed men that approached the intended victim near the intersection of Sequoia Street and Balsam Street around 10:15 p.m., Feb. 18.
