Sheriff IDs Car Pulled from Rantowles Creek
One of the two cars pulled from Rantowles Creek two weeks ago
One of the has been identified, investigators are still trying to determine the make, model and owner of the other car.
"The one Honda Civic was reported stolen I believe around 2004 timeframe," Mjr. James Brady wrote in an email to Patch.com. "The detective is following up with insurance the insurance company to find out any other details on the one that has been identified."
The other car was so badly deteriorated by the creek water and time that investigators have yet to determine even what type of car it is, Brady wrote.

The Sheriff's Office first learned of the cars on Feb. 13., but only two were located near the Peter Miller Bridge.
