Six Area Teens Make The Naughty List

CHARLESTON - A West Ashley woman foiled a group of six teenagers plan to steal a 6-foot tall singing Santa Christmas decortation from her porch when she pulled it out of their SUV as they fled her property on Captiva Row around 12:45 a.m. Saturday, according to a Charleston Police Department report.

The woman told officers she heard noise on her porch and went outside in time to see the teens stuffing the decoration into the back of a large white SUV. She was able to haul the Santa out of the SUV as it drove off, however she wasn't able to retrieve the Santa's power cord.

The teens were in two vehicles, in addition to the white SUV some of them were also riding in a smaller black SUV.
