  1. The Charleston City Council is considering an agreement to convert nearly 7,000 city street lights to LED. The agreement would be with Dominion Energy. The city reports that the agreement would save the city about $9,000 per month over its five-year period. (Live 5 News WCSC)
  2. Charleston's city employees will be eligible for paid family leave through the city's 2023 budget. The new benefit applies to all city employees. The Charleston Women's Commission has been pushing for the benefit since 2019. The full budget will be voted on Dec. 8. (Charleston Post Courier)
  3. The North Charleston Police Department is searching for a missing man. Donovan Johnson, 21 years old, was last seen on Oct. 31 in North Charleston. He is homeless and typically frequents the Redbank Road area. Anyone with information about Johnson is asked to to contact the department. (Live 5 News WCSC)
