Here are the top three stories today in Charleston:
- A North Charleston elementary school teacher has been placed on administrative leave after making comments to a group of students. The Charleston County School District reports the comments were made on Tuesday, Nov. 1. Written statements have been taken from the affected students. District officials are investigating the situation. (ABC NEWS 4)
- The Charleston International Airport is urging holiday travelers to plan ahead. Thanksgiving is the airport's busiest time of the year. Travelers are encouraged to arrive at least two hours early for domestic flights, allow time for remote parking, review carry-on baggage policies, and check flight status before arriving at the airport. - The North Charleston Police Department has sworn in its youngest recruit, ever. The department swore in Celia Jolene Tucker, 4 years old, during the ceremony for Ptl. Derrick Ambas on Monday.
