Trio Arrested for Armed Robbery
Bar on Ashley River Road robbed by men with shotgun on Halloween
CHARLESTON - Police stopped a white Crown Victoria leaving Palmetto Point Apartments around 11 p.m. Monday night, shortly after nearby Pierpont Pub had been robbed by two men wearing all black clothing and wieding a shotgun, according to a statement released by Charleston Police.
Four people were in the car at the time of the stop and all allegedly fled when officers pulled them over. Three of the men in the car were caught, the fourth got away, though police still hope to identify him.
Marquell Lovon Holmes, 23, Deangelo Martequis Brown, 22, and Katrell Jamal Mitchell, 22, all of Adam's Run were charged with armed robbery. Brown was also charged with possession of marijuana, according to the statement.

The men are scheduled for a bond hearing this afternoon.
The Charleston Police Department and the Charleston County Sheriff's Office are still investigating whether any or all of the men are connected to other crimes in the area, according to a Sheriff's Office statement.
