Trio of West Ashley Businesses Burglarized
On Saturday the Charleston Police Department and the Charleston County Sheriff's Office responded to break-ins at three area businesses.

Charleston Police are investigating burglaries at two businesses in St. Andrew's Shopping Center at 975 Savannah Highway.
Both Wonder Works and Massage Envy fell victim to burglars around 4:20 a.m., Thursday, April 19, according to separate reports. An alarm sounded at 4:20 that morning at Wonder Works as two men in dark clothes and wearing black masks broke into the store. The owner told police she cancelled the alarm thinking it had been set off by an employee who was scheduled to arrive at the store around 5 a.m., however the business' surveillance cameras recorded the pair of burglars carry out the store's safe, which had been bolted to a cabinet and contained more than $400 cash.
Nearby at Massage Envy, a surveillance camera captured images of a single burglar, also wearing dark clothing and a mask, smashing through the front glass door and taking about $300 from the cash register.
