West Ashley Man Charged In Bank Robbery
Two men were arrested and charged in connection with the robbery of the First Citizen's Bank in Hollywood
Twenty-five-year-old Jered Akil Gilliard of 5 Avalon Court is one of two men facing charges of bank robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.
The charges stem from the robbery of the First Citizen's Bank branch on Hwy. 162 in Hollywood on Nov. 28, according to a statement released Friday by the Charleston County Sheriff's Office.
James Island resident, Rashad Edward Harley, 33, of 1097 Harborview Road was also charged.

A John's Island woman, Jessica Nicole Wigfall of 2275 Turkey Hill Road was charged with accessory after the fact of a bank robbery for allegedly driving the getaway car, according to the statement.
The Sheriff's Office says Gilliard and Harley entered the bank at 12:35 p.m. on Nov. 28, jumped over the teller counter and demanded cash before fleeing the bank and jumping into a waiting blue Ford Explorer. Officers tracked down the Explorer to Wigfall's address.

According to the statement Wigfall said she received $50 to drive the vehicle for Harley and Gilliard.
On Dec. 8, Wigfall was given a $10,000 surety bond. Gilliard and Harley will go before a judge today for a bond hearing.
