West Ashley Man Killed in Weekend Fall
A West Ashley man fell from a downtown roof while attempting to jump to another building

A 21-year-old West Ashley man fell to his death from the top of 363 King St., while trying to jump to another building early Saturday morning, according to a Charleston Police report.
Thomas Scott Cliff of Cornell Street had been jumping between the two buildings earlier in the evening, according to one witness statement. Cliff fell at approximately 3:15 a.m., according to the report, and struck a brick pillar before landing on the brick sidewalk.
Cliff was with several people on the roof of the building at the time, according to the report.
