West Ashley Medical Offices Hit in Recent String of Burglaries
Several medical offices and a one other business were the victims of a string of recent burglaries in the Northbridge area of West Ashley

Charleston Police are investigating a string of burglaries in the Nothbridge area of West Ashley that all occurred around the same time on Jan. 20, according to several Police reports.
Few items were taken from the six businesses that were hit by the burglar or burglars, according to the reports. Three offices on Gamecock Avenue and three in the same building on Northbridge Drive were broken into between 1 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 19 and 2:14 a.m., Sunday, Jan. 20.
Nothing was reported stolen by any of the three businesses on Gamecock Avenue, Mouth Carolina Dentistry at 3 Gamecock Ave., Howard Kurtzman M.D. at 27 Gamecock Ave. or David Sarnoff Ph.D. at 7 Gamecock Ave. The burglar did take an interior bi-fold door off its hinges inside Mouth Carolina Dentistry and broke into some locked offices inside Dr. Sarnoff's office, but the victims told Charleston Police nothing was stolen or looked as if it had been tampered with other than the doors.

Several items were stolen from the businesses in suites at 1164 Northbridge Drive however, according to Police reports. An officer who was investigating the Gamecock Avenue burglaries found the front doors of all three businesses shattered at 2:14 a.m., Jan. 20, according to another report.
A bank deposit bag with an unknown number of checks made out to the business and $10 cash was stolen from Dr. James Richart Dentistry. At the business office for Custom Car Stereo located next to Richart's office a laptop computer, a bank deposit bag with approximately $500 and a .22 caliber revolver were stolen. Two laptop computers were stolen from Kline Chiropractic in the suite next to Custom Car Stereo.
