What Went There: Plugs Appliance Center
One of the formerly vacant commercial properties featured in a What Should Go Here post has found a new tenant

West Ashley looks to be the testing ground for a new home appliance retail store.
Plugs Appliance Center is moving into 1903 Sam Rittenberg Blvd., a property previously featured in West Ashley Patch's What Should Go Here series.
Plugs is a new venture for a company out of Fair Bluff, N.C., and it will be going toe-to-toe with Best Buy, Sears and the big home improvement stores on brand name washers, dryers, refrigerators and other appliances.

Several Patch users said they wanted to see an arts and crafts store move into this spot when it was featured in March. While it didn't pan out for this location, a Joann Fabric and Craft Store is being built next to Kohls in the Ashley Crossing Shopping Center.
