Who's on Your Ballot?

That's because County Council, State House and State Senate district lines don't necessarily mesh with voting precinct lines. In some cases a voter will cast a ballot in one County Council district while his or her nextdoor neighbor will be voting in another council district race. The same goes for State House and State Senate races.

Typically poll managers and clerks will provide voters with printouts of ballot styles when they arrive at the polling location, but for those that want to know ahead of time how their ballot will look we've compiled the 22 ballot styles that will confront West Ashley voters on Nov. 6 and linked them to the voting precincts where they'll appear.

We've used the local races to differentiate the ballots because in many cases multiple ballot styles will be used within the same precinct. Check your Voter Registration card for your County Council, State House and State Senate districts. (Click here to see the list and map of voting precincts.)
