Wholesale Liquors Robbery Suspect Sought

Detective with the Charleston County Sheriff's Office are asking for help identifying the man who robbed Wholesale Liquors at 1610 Sam Rittenberg Blvd. around 1:15 p.m. Friday.

The man described as a black male, approximately 30 years old, 130-150 pounds, average height and bald, was last seen wearing a black or dark gray hoodie and black pants. He entered the store around 1:15 p.m. Friday, brandished a handgun — possibly a .45 caliber — and demanded money from the clerk. He fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Officers attempted to track down the suspect with a K-9 unit, but lost his track behind the business.
