Woman Stabs Man With Broken Beer Bottle
Fight started over cutting in the line for the bathroom.

CHARLESTON - A West Ashley man required several stitches for a near fatal laceration on his neck following an attack by a beer bottle wielding couple at a party at Catalyst Creative Arts Studio around 12:30 a.m. Friday, according to a Charleston Police Department report.
While waiting in line for the bathroom, the victim told officers an apparently drunk man cut in line in front of him. When the victim confronted the man an argument ensued during which the line cutter allegedly hit the victim with a beer bottle. The victim's friend tried to intervene, but a woman with the man who allegedly struck the victim then attacked the victim also using a beer bottle. After striking the victim several times with it the bottle broke and the woman allegedly continued to slash and stab at the victim with the broken bottle, cutting his neck, the report stated.
Discharge papers the victim received from MUSC described the wound as near fatal, and stated the cut just missed severing a major artery in the man's neck.
