Clyburn: NSA Leaks Part of Effort to Embarrass Obama

A story in Buzzfeed today reports that Rep. Jim Clyburn (D-6), thinks the leaks about NSA spying are an attempt by President Obama's opponents to damage him politically.

Last week, The Guardian reported that the National Security Administration had conducted several surveillence programs with information it obtained from Verizon, among other companies.

Clyburn also told Buzzfeed that the person responsible for the leaks, Edward Snowden, who is now in China, should be extradited.
