Gov. Nikki Haley issued a statewide proclamation designating Sept. 17 as “Constitution Day” and the beginning of “Constitution Week,” lasting until Sept. 23.
The proclamation recognizes the 226th anniversary of the signing of the United States Constitution, which, according to a statement released by the governor's office, "secures the blessings of liberty and justice for all Americans."
