• Midlands man embarks on 200-mile run to support Young Life (wistv.com) — A Midlands runner is trekking 200 miles across South Carolina this weekend to finish at Columbia’s Riverfront Park while raising money for Young Life camp scholarships. Michael Davis, an experienced ultra-marathoner, hopes to arrive before dark Sunday after running with only brief naps and invites supporters to follow his progress online.
