Pedestrian Dies After Being Struck by 2 Vehicles
The identity of the victim has not been released by the Richland County Coroner's Office.

A pedestrian died after being struck by two vehicles in Richland County Friday night.
South Carolina Highway Patrol Lance Cpl. Judd Jones said the pedestrian was walking on Longtown Road around 8:30 p.m. when a 2004 Chrysler van that was traveling south struck the person. The pedestrian was then hit by a 2008 Toyota pickup that was traveling north.
The victim was taken to Palmetto Richland and later pronounced dead from injuries suffered in the collision, Jones said.
The identity of the victim has not been released by the Richland County Coroner's Office.
The drivers as well as a passenger in one of the vehicles were not injured. All were wearing seat belts.
The collision remains under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
