- A 93-year-old woman in Hilton Head Island is set to address the media regarding a lawsuit filed against her by a developer aiming to force her to sell her land. Josephine Wright claims she is being harassed and sued because she refuses to sell her property to make way for a 147-unit development. The developer, Bailey Point Investment Group, alleges that Wright's personal property, including a satellite and a shed, has significantly hindered the progress of the development. (Live5News)
- A former chain restaurant on Hilton Head Island has been transformed into a unique local spot called "Lucky Beach Bar And Kitchen." The owners, David and Carrie Leffew, aimed to create a more casual and welcoming place for the community, incorporating the island's history and flavors, including Gullah influences. They wanted to provide a memorable experience for their guests and make a positive impact on people's lives through their food and hospitality. (WTOC)
- Hilton Head Regional Hospital will host a blood drive on Monday, Jun. 26, in an effort to replenish the blood banks after a shortage in 2022. With only three percent of the eligible population donating, the hospital is encouraging people of all ages and blood types to participate and help save lives. The blood drive will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. outside the hospital, and donors will receive a $10 gift card and Girl Scout cookies as a token of appreciation. (ABC 4 News)

- If you were commuting on Highway 278 yesterday (Jun. 22), you may have noticed some congestion. A traffic accident on the Hilton Head Island Bridge blocked the left eastbound lane of Highway 278, causing delays for motorists. (Town of Hilton Head Island Government via Facebook)
