Lifeguards and doctors have reported numerous stingray stings each year, with victims experiencing intense pain comparable to childbirth. While complications such as infections can arise, doctors assure that most cases are treatable with antibiotics, emphasizing the importance of shuffling one's feet while in the water to avoid stepping on the bottom feeders.
