Lexington County Officers Seized Meth Lab Near Leesville
Officers say the four suspects broke into a unoccupied home, which is owned as a second home, along Lake Murray.
Four people were arrested after officers with the Lexington County Multi-Agency Narcotics Enforcement Team seized a meth lab they say was being operated at a home near Leesville the suspects had broken into, according to the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department.
A relative of the owners of a home on Ivy Link Road contacted the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department on Monday and reported that unauthorized people were in the home, according to a news release. When deputies arrived to the home at about 8:30 p.m. they found three men and a woman as well as waste from a methamphetamine lab.
Officers arrested Darwin Jason Ciesielski, 43, of 181 Benjamin Drive, Lexington; Kimberly Elaine Kinney, 30, of 4849 Highway 41 South, Marion; Charles Brandon Linton, 23, of 1364 Devils Backbone Road, Leesville; and Cody Edward Shealy, 22, of 255 Rawls Drive, Batesburg-Leesville.

All four were charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and second-degree burglary.
The suspects were being held Tuesday at the Lexington County Detention Center while awaiting bond hearings.
