'The Croods' Movie in the Park Event Rescheduled Due to Weather

This week's Movie in the Park event has been rescheduled due to wet weather conditions.

"The Croods," which was originally scheduled for Friday night, has been moved to 9 p.m. Saturday, July 27 at the Gibson Road Soccer Complex.

The event was moved because of the soggy, muddy field and 50 percent chance of rain for Friday night, the Lexington County Recreation Commission and the Town of Lexington announced Friday. 

"We would rather error on the side of caution and allow families to reschedule their plans for tonight instead of waiting until the last minute to call off the movie," a post on the recreation commission Facebook page reads.
