Wildlife Association to Host Last Meeting Before Eviction
The Lexington Wildlife Chapter will be evicted from Barr Pond.

The Lexington Wildlife Chapter will host its last meeting at the Barr Pond before they are evicted on Tuesday.Â
Barr Pond Associates and MWK Properties, owned by Mary and Wade Keisler,  bought Barr Pond and the 11 acres of property, according to an email from the head of the Wildlife Chapter.Â

Hugh Rogers, past Lexington mayor and longtime Wildlife Chapter member, will be the guest speaker. Rogers has been a member since 1955 and plans to talk about the early days of Lexington Wildlife Chapter and how the members impacted efforts to stock fish in Lake Murray and also efforts to establish other game populations in the county, the email stated.Â
