Nearly 100 cats and dogs who are looking for their fur-ever homes will be featured this weekend at free adoption event being held at the PetSmart in Myrtle Beach Saturday, June 24 from noon to 3 p.m. The free event is being hosted by The Horry County Animals Care Center. - Good news for those who like to play! Simpson Creek Park has reopened in Horry County after being closed for renovations. The milling and paving work has been completed and playing and having fun can now resume at the park. (wpde.com)
- There is now a $1,000 reward being offered for information in the deadly Myrtle Beach hit-and-run incident that took the life of 30-year-old Nelson Green, Jr. in the early morning hours of May 18 in the area of Jennings Road and Stalvey Avenue. Anyone with information is asked to call the MBPD at 843-918-1382 and reference case number 23-007939. (WMBF)
