Horry-Georgetown Technical College (HGTC) is pleased to announce that sonography students
are currently training to perform obstetrics and gynecology (OB) ultrasound examinations
in the clinical setting. Enrolled HGTC Ultrasound students are offering to perform
non-diagnostic ultrasounds to help perfect their scanning skills, while providing
some of the first images of the new family member.

The College is seeking volunteers to participate in one-hour sessions on select dates
and times. Appointments for Spring 2022 are now available. During the one-hour session,
expectant patients and their loved ones will have the opportunity to view the baby
at a new stage of development while HGTC students learn important skills with a qualified
Sonography Instructor. Students and faculty always make sure to send some fun ultrasound
pictures home with mom.
The FREE non-diagnostic ultrasounds will be offered on the HGTC Grand Strand Campus
at 3501 Pampas Drive in Myrtle Beach. Those interested in volunteering for this exciting,
FREE opportunity may schedule an appointment online at www.signup.com/go/kSpVAGs or by calling 843-477-2181. Moms must be more than 20 weeks and will need to have a record of their prenatal
ultrasound with a primary physician.
