  1. More than just a good time and a great competition, the World’s Strongest Man competition is a huge money maker for the Myrtle Beach area each year. For 2023, the competition event brought in a reported $8 million dollars for hotels, restaurants and other attractions throughout Myrtle Beach. The chamber revealed that 38,000 people attended the event over the course of five days.The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce reported that the five-day event has an attendance of over 38,000 people.
