- Once again, the Myrtle Beach International Airport has been nominated to be named the best small airport in the country in the USA Today 10 Best Reader's Choice Contest. In 2021 the airport won the accolade. Will it happen again? (WMBF)
- Tag sale stalkers and garage sale fiends take note, South Carolina’s 34th annual Largest Garage Sale is happening this weekend at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. There will reportedly be nearly 300 vendors at the event. According to WBTW, "Organizers said the sale is something the community and tourists wait for all year long. The sale will run from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the convention center. Admission is free, but there is a $5 parking fee.” (WBTW)
- At around 4:12 a.m. on Wednesday morning, a residential structure fire at the 300 block of Juniper Bay Road broke out. According to wpde.com, "Horry County Fire Rescue were dispatched, the fire was isolated to a dryer." There were no reported injuries. (wpde.com)
