COVID-19 vaccination is an important tool to help us get back to normal. We all play a vital role in vaccine outreach. To help answer frequently asked questions and provide education, we have created this vaccine resource page.
Children ages 5-11 are now eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccination.

The CDC announced the approval Nov. 2.
Use the vaccination locator provided by the S.C. Department of Environmental Health and Control to find a location and schedule an appointment.
Tidelands Health is hosting special pediatric clinics at the Tidelands Health Family Medicine location on Holmestown Road from 4:30-6 p.m. on the following Thursdays: Nov. 11, Nov. 18, Dec. 2 and Dec. 9.
Adults also may receive the vaccine during these clinics. The vaccine continues to be offered at no cost and no appointment is needed to attend the clinics.

Tidelands Health will come on site and offer vaccination clinics. This service is available at no cost to businesses, churches and community groups in Horry, Georgetown and Williamsburg counties. The CDC recently issued new guidance to help businesses determine if on-site vaccination is an option for them. To assist you, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation has prepared some new resources and best practices for hosting a vaccine clinic.

U.S. Department of Health and Human Services offers an On-Site Vaccination Clinic Toolkit that includes a roadmap for working directly with vaccine providers to launch vaccination clinics in places people know and trust, sample roles and responsibilities to guide discussion and planning with your vaccine provider, and points-of-contact for vaccine providers offering on-site vaccination services.
Be Positive You’re Negative – DHEC urges South Carolinians to be positive you're negative by routinely getting tested if you're regularly out in the community. Visit scdhec.gov/findatest for a testing location near you. DHEC-sponsored testing is free, doesn't require insurance, and results are available within 72 hours. If it has been more than 72 hours since you were tested, you can email CustomerService@dhec.sc.gov or call the Care Line at 1-888-697-9004 to inquire about your test results.
