Joan Stanton, who passed away in 2009, was the loving mother of 9 children.
MYRTLE BEACH, SC— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

What makes your Mom extra special?
Loving mother of 9 children who she raised on her own. Mom passed 12/30/2009. She was the greatest and strongest woman I have ever known.
