Myrtle Beach Property Owners Property Tax Letters Hitting Your Mailbox

I checked my mail yesterday and had multiple letters from the Tax Assessors Office. Of course, we typically do not receive mail from them with good news on how much money we are saving.

I assume most property owners will be receiving a letter any day now.

Unfortunately, most of us are likely to see that they are increasing accessed values again meaning many of us will see an increase in our property taxes.

We already had increases in insurance so this is the last thing we need at this time. Please look at the information I have provided.

If you feel that your properties value has been increased unfairly then look at the rules for submitting and objection.

I feel the tax department in Horry County is going to be very busy dealing with these objections so if you plan to do something then you may want to get started.
