  3. Keeping a close eye on turtle activity in the area, volunteers who are part of South Carolina United Turtle Enthusiasts (S.C.U.T.E.) head to the beach every morning to check on nests and look for turtle tracks. Currently, there are two nests being watched this season, one in North Beach and another in Litchfield. To find out more, and get nesting reports from throughout South Carolina, click here.
