- Myrtle Beach International Airport is looking to bring even more flights to the area with plans to expand. According to wpde.com, "So far this summer, [Myrtle Beach International Airport] has added new flights to Delaware, Colorado, Ohio, and New York." (wpde.com)
- A Myrtle Beach attraction since 1976, Ripley's Believe It or Not! is excited to hold the grand opening of three new attractions today, Friday, June 16, including mini golf, an illusion lab, and a haunted adventure. Ripley's has also added to its already amazing mirror maze making it larger and more immersive. Check it out! (wpde.com)
- The annual Riverfest in downtown Conway will be taking place next weekend, June 24. Join the community for a weekend of family-fun, live music, delicious food, arts and crafts a beer garden and unforgettable memories along the Waccamaw River. According to WMBF, "Live entertainment will be held in Riverfront Park including performances from local entertainers and a fireworks show at 9:30. Hang out along Marina Drive for the opening ceremony will be held on Marina Drive followed by a golf cart parade at 11:30 a.m., artisan market, business expo and a Jello Jump with a kids area." - The 27-year-old woman who was a victim of a fatal accidental shooting in Murrells Inlet has been identified as Sonreah MaCullum by the Georgetown County Coroner’s Office. The incident happened on Saturday. According to WMBF, "The cause of death is pending the completion of the investigation." (WMBF)
