  1. Onlookers got quite a show Wednesday morning as they watched a mother sea turtle lay 102 eggs on South Strand beach. Because the eggs were below the high tide line, they were moved to a higher, safer spot by professionals. According to WMBF, "sea turtle mating season starts in May and ends in October." (WMBF)
  2. Creedence Revived, the renown tribute band to CCR, will be live at The Carolina Opry Theater, for one night only, on July 9, at 7 p.m. Tickets are on sale now. (Carolina Opry)

  3. There is a new trend in the Myrtle Beach for tourists. According to information from the wpde.com, "People are waiting until the last minute to book and are not spending as much when they do come. Two Myrtle Beach staples for vacationers are definitely seeing those trends; gift shops and golf carts." Both businesses are experiences a slower than usual trend this season and attributing it to inflation. (wpde.com)
  4. If you are looking for a new place to walk, run or ride your bike, you are in luck. A new 2.5-mile path, which is wheelchair friendly, (golf carts not allowed) is now open in the North Strand. It runs from Hill Street to Harrelson Avenue along Little River Neck Road. Head on over for a change of scenery. (Myhorrynews)
