  1. Do you love seafood? Then you will want to be in Myrtle Beach this weekend! The I love Seafood Fest begins today Saturday, Sept. 9. and Sunday, Sept. 10. in downtown Myrtle Beach at the Burroughs & Chapin Pavilion. In addition to heaps of crab, clams, shrimp, oysters, conch fritters, gator burgers, blue crab, lobster and live music. According to wpde.com, "Sunday is First Responders Day, with a 9/11 ceremony honoring all first responders." (wpde.com)
  2. The forecast is calling for cooler weather this weekend. According to WMBF, "A weak cold front will drift into the Carolinas early Saturday and only very slowly move across the region through late Sunday. With the front in the area and plenty of humidity around, pop up showers and storms will be likely, but the weekend will not be a washout." (WMBF)
  3. The historic train depot on Route 95 was vandalized. According to WMF, President and Owner of the depot Ken Pippin is offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individuals [involved]. (WMBF)
