  1. It's happening! The $34 million infrastructure project for the Arts & Innovation District is kicking off, according to the City of Myrtle Beach. Part of the historic area revamp, work on the project will reportedly be managed by the South Carolina Department of Transportation and will start shortly with a sewer pump station on Sixth Avenue North and a stormwater pond off Balsam Street. (WMBF)
  2. Once again prices at the pump are plummeting. According to WMBF, "Prices are also down across South Carolina and North Carolina. GasBuddy reports prices in Myrtle Beach dropped 12.2 cents in the last week. That drops the average gas price in the city to $3.37 per gallon." (WMBF)
  3. A shooting took place in the early morning hours Monday, at the 1800th block of South Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach. At press time, reports from WMBF explained, "Officers were called out around 1:25 a.m. The victim is currently getting treatment but is expected to be OK." (WMBF)
