Here are the top three stories today in Myrtle Beach:

  1. The Spring Wine Festival is coming back for its third year at Brookgreen Gardens on May 13 from 1 to 4 p.m. According to wpde.com, "Tickets for members are $50, $60 for non-members, and $125 for VIPs. Tickets include 10 tasting tickets while additional tickets will be sold at the event for wine tastings, games and other activities. VIP tickets include 15 tasting tickets, a personal charcuterie box, reserved seating in the VIP Wine Garden, and a special selection of exclusive wines." (wpde.com)
  2. It is said that April showers bring May flowers and maybe that is true in some areas, but Myrtle Beach isn't one of them. According to WMBF, "April in Myrtle Beach is actually the driest month of the year and September is the rainest." (WMBF)
  3. Myrtle Beach International Airport announced it's expanding and adding six gates to the terminal with a glass front and a stylish new interior. Construction is slated for sometime in 2024. (wpde.com)
