911 Call Alerts Deputies to Bank Robbery Suspects' Location

The suspects on the lam after a North Charleston bank robbery and police chase through Summerville to Givhans have been captured.

Suspects have been identified as Tyrone Darius Ellis and Ronald Lamont Lance.

According to the woman who made 911 call, the suspects were sitting on her front porch on Campbell Road waiting for a taxi cab after they had asked to borrow a phone Tuesday morning. She reported that one of the suspects had a broken arm and a broken foot.

Ellis and Lance were sought by Dorchester County Sheriff's Office after they allegedly led law enforcement on a chase and wrecked in the Givhans area of Highway 61. The two suspects will be transported and lodged at the Dorchester County Detention Center.

North Charleston Police say Christopher Coburn, who was driving the car after the bank robbery and was later pushed out of the vehicle by one of the other suspects during the pursuit, was arrested late Monday night.

At this time the suspects are charged with Entering a Bank with Intent to Steal and Failure to Stop for Blue Lights.
