Deputies Release Sketch of Attempted Kidnapping Suspect

Dorchester County Sheriff's Office has released a sketch of a suspect that a teenager girl alleges tried to kidnap her July 10 in the Plum Creek subdivision.

The 15-year-old girl told Dorchester County deputies that while she was walking in the subdivision at around midnight July 10, a unknown man attempted to grab her and pull her into the truck. 

She told police she was struck in the cheek by the assailant's elbow, and said she struggled until she could break free. 

According to the victim, adults in the neighborhood went searching for the assailant prior to calling the police. There was nearly two hours between the incident time and the police report.
