Bee City remains open even as 15 inches of flood waters have overtaken some of its driveway off of Highway 61.
Owner Scott Biering said the Edisto River will crest Wednesday and flooding is expected to ebb by the weekend. The Edisto is at its highest levels in 10 years due to the heavy June and July rains.
Biering's animals don't need an ark just yet: the popular family destination was built on high ground.
