Summerville Day of Service 2013 had 288 volunteers from 13 organizations - despite the rainy weather. These volunteers completed 28 service projects in the community for organizations in need and they were supported by 17 sponsors that donated goods and services. The event was held May 4.
Day of Service 2014 will provide even more opportunities for volunteers to help improve the Summerville community.
