Made in Summerville: A Product You Never Knew Existed (Video)

A ball screw might not be something the average person knows exists but it makes modern life possible — everything from aircraft to automated doors.

Ball screws for aircraft — including the Boeing 777 — are manufactured in Summerville by Aero Precision Products. The company opened four years ago in Dorchester County.
