Minor Earthquake Rumbles in Summerville
An earthquake struck the Summerville and Ladson area at around noon Monday.

Did you feel a rumbling around noon on Monday? If so, it wasn't your tummy. It was a 2.1 minor earthquake.
If so, you likely felt Summerville's latest earthquake to rumble down the Middleton fault.Â
The quake measured 2.1 magnitude on the Richter scale, making it a minor quake. Minor quakes are usually felt by some but usually don't damage buildings. The earthquake's epicenter was near Summerville Medical and Cinemark Movie Theater, off of Ladson Road, in Eagle Creek.
