Officials: No Update on Gunshot Victim's Condition

Dorchester County Sheriff's Office and MUSC officials declined to provide an update on the condition of a critically wounded Ridgeville man Tuesday.

Phillip Alexander Moorer, 22, of Ridgeville, was shot in the abdomen at Club Bubba's in Ridgeville early Sunday morning. His condition was listed as critical, but since his injury, no update has been made available to the public.

After a gunman shot Moorer early Sunday, two of his friends were driving Moorer to the hospital when their vehicle ran out of gas. One of those friends posted a status on Facebook Tuesday about the incident:

"I shittin it took me dis long to open ma eyes....but alot of shit gotta change...all dis bull shit gotta go...still prayn for ma lil nigga.... — with Phillip Moorer."
