Double amputee fends off dogs, later dies from injuries.

A double-amputee pulled from his wheelchair and attacked by a pack of dogs has died, according to Dorchester County Coroner.Â
Carlton Freeman, an 80-year-old, double-amputee from Harleyville, was attacked at around 1 p.m. May 8, and succumbed to his injuries May 12, Coroner Chris Nisbet reported.
"This is very sad story, but even worse that Mr. Freeman was basically helpless to the attack, due to being a bi-lateral amputee," Nisbet said.
