Summerville Town Council approved a ban on fireworks Wednesday, <a href="http://www.postandcourier.com/article/20130613/PC16/130619684/1009/summerville-fireworks-to-be-muffled-mayor-to-get-raise&amp;source=RSS" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">the Post and Courier reported</a>. The ordinance would ban setting off fireworks between 10 p.m. and 10 a.m. except on New Year's Eve and July 4.
