Tropical Storm Andrea Eyes Charleston Region

The Naitonal Hurricane Center issued advisories for Tropical Storm Andrea 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. 

As the first tropical storm of the season, Andrea is expected to roll over Florida and skirt up the East Coast. According to Accuweather.com, Tropical Storm Andrea will impact hit Florida Thursday. 

Accuweather reported:

While not a major threat to lives and property, Andrea can cause some damage, sporadic power outages and travel disruptions. The system will also bring needed rain to parts of Florida and the South.

Andrea's impact will likely be felt in the Charleston area by Thursday evening or Friday morning. A tropical storm watch has been issued from Flagler Beach, Fla., to Surf City, N.C.
