Dec. 5 was 'Celebrate Shelter Pets Day,' and Mckamey Animal Center is celebrating in a special way: From Dec. 1 through Dec. 11, nearly every animal in the shelter will have its adoption fees dropped to a mere $25. The shelter offers adoption services for homeless dogs, cats, and other animals in need. Pictures of the animals available for adoption can be found on their website. (WTVC)

Students get to experience immersive programs, speak with people in the STEM workforce, and mentors from the field. (Chattanooga Pulse)
